Privacy Policy

Your cameras stay on your device

The cameras you pair, including the Wi-Fi credentials the camera hands over, are stored only on your device. Pocket Tools talks to the camera over Bluetooth and the camera's own Wi-Fi network: its photos, videos and live view go straight to your device and never pass through our servers or any third party. If you import a location history to tag your downloads, it stays on your device too and you can delete it at any time.

Usage data

To improve the app we use Google Firebase Analytics, which collects anonymous usage data such as the screens you open and your device model. This data does not include your cameras, their credentials, your photos or videos or your location. Pocket Tools does not show ads, does not use the advertising identifier and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, so we never receive your payment details. The app checks with Apple which purchases are active; no other company is involved.

Connections to our service

The app downloads its version information, frequently asked questions and roadmap from api.pocketools.app. As with any web request, our provider Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the response; we do not use it to identify you.

Support

If you contact us, we only use your message and email address to answer you. Session diagnostics are only shared if you copy or share them yourself, and they never include the camera's Wi-Fi password.

Permissions

Pocket Tools asks for Bluetooth to find and pair your cameras, for access to your local network to talk to the camera over its Wi-Fi, for permission to add photos so it can save what you download, and for notifications to tell you when a download finishes. You can change these permissions at any time in your device's settings.

Service providers

We only work with providers that need this data to run the service: Apple (App Store and purchases), Google Firebase (usage statistics) and Cloudflare (hosting of our website and service). Each of them processes the data under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the data related to you by writing to support@fixolab.dev. Deleting the app removes all the data it stores on your device, including your cameras.

Children's privacy

Pocket Tools is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
